Everything about your Hotspot!

Hey friends,
Today we will talk about our Smartphone's hotspot.
So let's start it:

*What is a Hotspot?
A hotspot is an awesome feature offered by our Smartphone's company so that we can share our mobile data wirelessly with another device having WIFI. It is a wireless  Local Area Network.

*How to connect:

1. Turn on your hotspot.

2. Turn on the WIFI of the device with whom you want to share your internet. Now in this device search your hotspot name and click on it and connect it. Enter the password, if asked.
 








*How to set a password for your Hotspot?
                                                                           You can prevent other users to use your internet by applying a password.

Step 1: Turn on the Hotspot and click on the "Menu" icon.

Step 2: Click on "Configure Mobile hotspot".

Step 3: Now You will see a pop-up. Now you can change your "Network name", "Security" and also can hide your device.

Step 4: Now choose "WPA PSK" in security section and below it enter the password you want to ask the users.

Step 5: Click on "save". You are ready now, connect and start sharing the internet connection.


*What is timeout setting?
                                             Timeout is used to save your smartphone's battery. it turns off your hotspot when no device is connected to you. To change this time click on the menu icon and then choose "Timeout settings". A pop-up will open choose the time limit and click on save.




















*How to prevent users from using your hotspot without any passkey?
                                                                                                                    Click on menu icon and choose "Allowed devices". Now it will show you the save allowed devices or you can also add a new one. Now go to hotspot main page and click on "Allow all device to connect". A pop-up will open, choose "Only allowed devices". Now hotspot will restart and that's all. Now no one else can connect to your hotspot.
